Forms of Child Abuse

Child abuse is one of the most disgusting social problems nowadays. It is defined as a variety of unlawful
actions directed against children. The main cause of child abuse is the financial crisis which comes with lack of education and industrial opportunities to the parents. This also belongs to the category of human  trafficking which indicates forcing of the underage children to work for the purpose of feeding their family. Child abuse comes in many forms.

Physical stories of child abuse

The physical child abuse is an action that involves physical aggression resulting to body injuries. Although the injury is accidentally done, the act will still fall under the physical abuse. You can identify if a child is being abused physically if she or he is experiencing beating, kicking, hair pulling, and burning of any parts of the body using cigarettes. There are also some severe physical punishments that are made by the parents to their children. Actually, some parents give physical punishment to their children not realizing that it already becomes a child abuse. There are many stories of child abuse that are stating the effect of the action to the children such as body wounds like bite marks and burns, fear of adults, and resistance to going home.

Emotional stories of child abuse

Emotional child abuse is an action that damages the child’s social
development and metal health. It can vary from simple verbal insult or
constant criticism to a severe punishment like extreme rejection.
According to some stories of child abuse, the action can come from
parents, siblings, teachers, friends, and other people. This type of
child abuse is usually difficult to prove. That is why some
organizations that deal in child protective movements may not be able to
interfere without any proofs of mental injury to the children.
Therefore, you can identify if a child is experiencing emotional abuse
only with the presence of other forms.

Sexual stories of child abuse
Sexual abuse is an action of tempting or forcing a child to perform
sexual activities like prostitution, whether the child knows what is
happening or not. This involves physical contact such as non-penetrative
and penetrative acts. The so-called penetrative act can be defined as
rape in which there is a forced penetration of vagina with penis. It can
also be identified by a sexual penetration of anus or vagina of a child
with an object or part of the body. In addition to that, it also
involves the non-contact activities like allowing the child to look
abusive images or watching sexual activities and other photos that show
pornography.

Stories of child abuse: Neglect

The most common type of child abuse is neglect. According to some stories of child abuse, more children are experiencing nightmares from neglect child abuse than sexual and physical abuse. However, the bad thing about this type of child abuse is that the victims are not identified because it is considered as an omission act.  This action is a scheme of failing to provide the children’s needs, most especially foods, clothes, right way of discipline, and education.
There are lots of ways to prevent child abuse such as joining in different organizations that aim for anti-child abuse and be aware of proper parenthood. But, it is more important to have good and effective governance not just in the side of parents but also in the leader of a society.
